sweet

This link works if the website doesn't: http://www.archive.org/details/intro-

good stuff :)

nice

I think the intro could have had some more going on. Maybe some filters on each layer, like bandpass, lowpass etc and then automate them to move around for more interest

but you drum programming was really good. I love how all the hits were panned differently and the little glitches and stuff

!!!!!!!

A new fave musician.
and not a new fave NG musician, if you know what I mean. THIS IS GREAT.
I love listening to jazzy hip-hop, this has the jazzy chords, funky wobbles, really spacey synths, great layering..

a really solid production definitely download
MAKE MORE LIKE THIS!

wow

simple, yet i love it.
the vocal chopping and processing is great.

improvements: reverb! it needs some space, maybe on the vox or snare.
modulate the lead synth, it just stay at the same sound, either have a more stacatto pattern or slowly change the filter

CowardlyLion responds:

Thank you very much! I've updated it with a newly mastered and edited version. Hope it sounds better.

Heyyyy

Finally some good mixing/mastering to be heard on the AP!
Great job man!
I'm not a huge fan of trance/hard trance, but the sounds are well put together.

hahaha

I garuntee EmpyrealVis was smoking pot.

anyways, this song is massive, so epic. at first i heard the dance-pluck presets and though "ohh, some boring prog shit" BUT it turned out to be great, nice breakdowns.

thank you for making me listen to trance again.
i'm dj-ing tomorrow night (controllerist style)
i think ill throw this track out with some snow patrol

wow

your new stuff is pretty pro!
great sound

however i have some suggestions:
some of the synths you used sounded like they would fit better in another genre, one sounded a little too generic trance-y, and i would've liked a nice bassline, like you establish in the beginning, but with a bit more prominence.

but hey! thanks for the tune! ill watch out for more of your stuff.

axeFX responds:

Yea I fully agree. Way too much trance elements, not enough bass. I mentioned that in my news post.

awesome!

you combined the violin/cello with the drums really well!
loved it.
what's the name of that VST? (must get my hands on it)

tijnn responds:

Hehehe it's done with a lot of waves, chopping them and recreating from that point, downloaded wav's, directwave wav's etc etc.

About 200 chopped audio files =O

still haven't got my hands on a nice VST yet.

cool

the intro is awesome, it kinda whips into the song, i like it, as for the rest of the song it never really goes anywhere, it's too short to be repetitive, but you should work on structure a bit.

however i do like what you have, keep up the work

YouriX responds:

Thanks! I am really new at making DnB so there will be mistakes. And i am glad you liked the intro i kinda liked it too! thanks for the comment!
