wow

simple, yet i love it.
the vocal chopping and processing is great.

improvements: reverb! it needs some space, maybe on the vox or snare.
modulate the lead synth, it just stay at the same sound, either have a more stacatto pattern or slowly change the filter

CowardlyLion responds:

Thank you very much! I've updated it with a newly mastered and edited version. Hope it sounds better.

wow

your new stuff is pretty pro!
great sound

however i have some suggestions:
some of the synths you used sounded like they would fit better in another genre, one sounded a little too generic trance-y, and i would've liked a nice bassline, like you establish in the beginning, but with a bit more prominence.

but hey! thanks for the tune! ill watch out for more of your stuff.

axeFX responds:

Yea I fully agree. Way too much trance elements, not enough bass. I mentioned that in my news post.

awesome!

you combined the violin/cello with the drums really well!
loved it.
what's the name of that VST? (must get my hands on it)

tijnn responds:

Hehehe it's done with a lot of waves, chopping them and recreating from that point, downloaded wav's, directwave wav's etc etc.

About 200 chopped audio files =O

still haven't got my hands on a nice VST yet.

cool

the intro is awesome, it kinda whips into the song, i like it, as for the rest of the song it never really goes anywhere, it's too short to be repetitive, but you should work on structure a bit.

however i do like what you have, keep up the work

YouriX responds:

Thanks! I am really new at making DnB so there will be mistakes. And i am glad you liked the intro i kinda liked it too! thanks for the comment!

nice!

great sound. the guitar was ambient, the drums were lovely, sounded pretty pro.

however:
i'd like that one guitar to be a bit more prominent... it sounds nice, show it off?
i'm not sure if the vocals in the middle really fit that well, near the end they did though.

nice job 4/5 9/10

KZband responds:

thanx ;)
yeah, we kinda had to work around our vocals

yay! zellers!

some proffessional shizz.

3 years to my life?
wow
tell this to all the amsterdam druggies!
they'll be able to counteract the fun they have!

djmixerman responds:

Lollol

YAY! MORE!!

i think this one would fit better under ambient.

its got a good sound, lots of layers... did you play things backwards there?

although.. i dunno, didnt quite like it as much as the others CH 2 was my fave.

pitbulljones responds:

hey man, thanks for the review. Yea it probably does suit ambient more, it kinda is a bit fuzzy as to exactly what genre this should be. There is a reversed part on the track yes, the guitars that come in are delayed and layered a few times to give it a rhythmic edge. they work nicely and i feel many people will mistake them for something else but they be guitars.

The chapter two track on here is still unfinished so i hope once thats completed you'll like it even more. Mnay thanks again.

pbj

uhm.

in what way is this not ska?

just wondering... it has an independent bass line, and the off-beat jumps for guitar..

nicely done mate

Mrbungl3 responds:

Thank you kind sir, i'm mainly a bass player so i try to make songs that build off that. Cheers!

heyheyhey

now heres a song ive been anticipating for a while, loved ch 1.

now for what i thought, the instruments were gret that intro sound was amazing with the reverb and guitar. as for the drums, i would prefer to hear some mellow rock drums, what was in there sounded almost a little hiphop.

just my thoughts, keep making great songs!

pitbulljones responds:

thanks for the review. Yea as previously mentioned the drums are a stop gap whilst i complete the track, this being the first phrase, there are the additions if a 'b' section with more guitar vocals are something that needs to be added to the track as well.

Length wise I'm aiming for about 4mins on the track depending on how it develops it may be longer or shorter. So definately keep checking up on this track as it is nowhere near it's completed from yet.

PBJ

haha

crazy. I loved the piano!
i could totally see this in some whacky video game.

Although, it seemed like some of the instruments didnt totally fit, the hits with the snares and such..

in the end (2:20 and on) everything pulled together and it sounded pretty dang cool.

5/5

Cebster responds:
